Acuva water spout on kitchen sink – 58

We have a 1 liter per minute Acuva UV water acuva water treatmenttreatment on
our kitchen sink. We trust our tank water, but a little extra protection is a good thing, right?  It also has its own under-sink water filter that should be changed annually (or if winterizing).

UV disinfection on fridge ice maker -59

Not to be outdone, we figured if our drinking water was extra purified, so should be our ice cubes. I purchased a UV system with a flow switch to help keep our cubes free of “bad things”.  It uses a flow  valve so is only on when the icemaker is filling.

Toilet sprayer – 60

This unit helps keep the toilet bowltoilet sprayer clean. Our particular toilet had a port that could be used by a sprayer, so any sprayer nozzle and hose can work.  The port is capped – you just cut off the end, push on a clamp a hose.  We do have to hold down the flush valve to use it.

Soap tray in shower, hooks etc. – 61, 62, 63, 64

We initially had the soap tray mounted below the inset shelf. After knocking it to the floor several times, we moved it over by the door where it has happily remained for a long time. We have hooks high inside the shower for washrags and hooks outside the shower for towels.  That is also a nylon squeegee for wiping down the shower.  The more water you get off the walls, the less chance of growing mold.

New shower head with shutoff valve – 65

We added an Oxygenics shower head with a full shut-off valve.  We love the shower head and prefer to shut the water off completely while washing.

Flexible shower hoses inside and out. – 66

why do expensive RVs come with stiff short shower hoses that are clipped to the wall of the shower? We added these flexible hoses in the shower and to the shower in the water bay.
