Our Story To Tell

Grand Tetons, Wyoming
Grand Tetons, Wyoming We took this shot from near the dam.

Hello – we are a retired couple, starting our 3rd year of RV travel.  We have not started full-time yet, but so far it is getting more appealing.  Currently, we are in our 3rd rig.  Why?  Mainly because of disappointments, educating ourselves on RVs and many fixes.  We started with a trailer, then a class C and now a class A.  Please join us in our adventures.  We have a growing list of videos on YouTube.  Click on the YouTube link in the top menu to see the full list.    Please subscribe to our channel and select the bell on YouTube so you will be notified of future videos when uploaded.

We have a series of blog entries taking you through our decision process, the delivery of our trailer and the several month long trials and tribulations of getting the trailer ready for the road. We’ve seen a lot of blogs and videos covering this particular topic, but we hope to provide a little different view of the process – shed some light on the hidden aspects of buying and setting up a new RV.  In particular, so many brand-new RV’s contain dozens of hidden or not so hidden problems created by cost-driven design, rushed construction and ill-thought out layouts.  So, our blog entries will be front heavy on finding and fixing problems, move on to enhancements and reviews and ultimately we also want to take you on the road with us as we experience new adventures.

Mike (retired electrical engineer) wrote a book with many more details on finding and repair Factory Installed Problems.  Our new book “Your RV is Broken!” is out now on Amazon.

In the meantime, you can read about our preparations in our Blog, review our recommendations in our Amazon shopping page or enjoy some of the landscape images in our Gallery(coming soon).

We are continuing to evolve the website, so please subscribe, comment and follow our story.

We also have posts for several other trips coming as well.
